Atlanta Braves Embroidered Patches

The Braves moved to Atlanta in 1966, and the Atlanta Braves patches here cover a lot of ground since then. The tomahawk logo is the one most people recognize first, but there’s also the script “A” from the current jerseys and the old-school lowercase “a” that shows up on throwback caps from the ’70s and ’80s.

The 1995 World Series patch gets requested a lot, and it’s easy to see why. That’s the only championship the Braves have actually closed out since the Atlanta move, so it carries more weight than a standard team crest. We’ve stitched it close to the original commemorative version worn on-field that year, with the same navy and gold color split.

Backing options are iron-on, sew-on, or Velcro. Iron-on works best if the patch is going somewhere permanent, like a jacket you’re not planning to swap gear on. Velcro is better if you want to move a patch between a cap, a bag, and a jersey depending on the day.

Materials are embroidered thread on a twill backing, so the tomahawk edges and the lettering hold their shape instead of fraying after a few washes.

Whether it’s a current-season “A” for game day or the ’95 patch for someone who remembers watching that Series live, these are built to actually get worn, not just sit in a drawer.
